I’m glad you’re here. I’m Tabria Williford, a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Austin, Texas, and the founder of Tawa Threads Co., a creative studio inspired by the beauty of nature, travel, and the diverse stories woven into our landscapes.

What began as a personal exploration of color and form has grown into a practice that blends fine art, design, and storytelling through travel. My work lives through tapestries, textiles, paintings, and public art installations, each piece rooted in a deep love for the outdoors and an appreciation for how art can transform the way we see our environments.

Through Tawa Threads, I create nature-inspired home décor and artwork that invites people to reconnect with the places that move them. From barren deserts to lush wetlands, every design begins with an experience: a hike, a moment of stillness, a texture, or a hue found in nature. Those memories are translated into bold compositions and brought into the home through handmade creations.

Our tapestries are GOTS and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, reflecting our dedication to ethical and sustainable practices. Each piece is part of our small batch creations, minimizing our environmental footprint while ensuring every work is crafted with care and intention.

We love working on commissioned pieces and collaborations. We partner with architects, residential communities, and local businesses to create custom artwork that aligns with their brand and mission.
